BriarPatch is working with local schools and Sierra Harvest on a new program called Apples For Gardens that will raise money for school gardens.

The program starts August 1!

We’ll donate 10 cents for every pound of apples sold. At the end of each month we’ll funnel that money directly to a local school to help cover the costs of school educators and garden infrastructure.

Even during COVID-19 and Distance Learning, school gardens need upkeep and maintenance. With customer support of this program, we’ll keep gardens thriving and they will be ready when children can safely return to school.

Look for signage in the Produce Department and other areas of the store and updates via our website, eNews and social media platforms. Read the Press Release!
