WHAT: Pierogi Party
WHEN: 6 to 8pm, Wednesday, April 21
Join BriarPatch Food Co-op and Gracie Schatz from your own kitchen during a virtual class where we learn the art of Pierogi making on Wednesday, April 21, from 6 to 8 pm.
Upon completion of the BriarPatch class, “Pierogi Party,” participants will understand the fundamentals of making delicious homemade pierogi.
Pierogi are filled dumplings made by wrapping unleavened dough around a savory or sweet filling and cooking in boiling water. They are often then pan-fried before serving. Pierogi are most often associated with the cuisine of Central and Eastern European nations.
This class is part of an ongoing 2021 series of online cooking and beverage classes. Co-op owners will receive $5 credit toward the purchase of class ingredients. An ingredient shopping list and recipes will be sent out one week before the class. A zoom link to the online class will be sent out the day before the class.
